“The issue with modern software development lies in the lack of communication between developers and end users,” Mr. Yeh explained, “leading to an ever widening generational gap as the youth takes over the market.”

The youth driven anime industry serves as a possible bridge between the communication gap, with the younger generation, well-versed in articulating its entertainment needs through contemporary formats, offering a unique lens through which the software industry can glean valuable insights. “The anime industry understands the needs of its consumers,” Mr. Yeh expressed, “as such it understands the need for constant innovation and creative insight into possible product applications,”
