With striking Asian female appearances that leave a lasting impression on clients worldwide, twin sisters and entrepreneurs Yu-Qi Wu and Yu-Hsuan Wu have deeply rooted themselves in the biotech industry. Together, they founded Twins Team, which has grown from a small startup to an influential women’s empowerment platform with an annual revenue of 15 million NTD.
Many find their achievements unbelievable. However, to them, the best secret weapon is the belief instilled by the United Nations SDG goals. Their story is not just about business success but also a contemporary legend of persistence, innovation, empowerment, and change.
In an exclusive interview with《The Icons》, the international celebrity magazine, the twins shared their success story in detail:
“Our entrepreneurial journey began with a shared dream—to improve women’s status and opportunities in the workplace. We realized that in traditional work environments, women often face many unfair treatments. This realization led us to create a team aimed at enhancing women’s autonomy and professional skills,” said elder sister Yu-Qi Wu firmly.
“We have always held an unwavering guidepost in our hearts, which is the fifth UN SDG ‘Gender Equality.’ Many men don’t care about this, and surprisingly, many women forget about it too. In many of my public speeches, I share that the key to our team’s success isn’t just operational strategies or business models, but this spirit engraved in every member’s heart. We are no less hardworking or professional than men; what men can achieve, so can we!” added younger sister Yu-Hsuan Wu with a smile.
Taking a big risk is necessary to change the status quo.
Today, the team has grown to over a thousand members. However, few know that the twins started with significant hardships, earning less than 30,000 NTD per month initially. But this didn’t deter their determination to pursue higher goals. Yu-Qi Wu recalled:
“Our monthly income was barely enough to cover basic living expenses. During the toughest times, I remember contemplating for a long time at the buffet about whether to take one more dish. Gradually, I realized that without taking a big risk, we would never change our situation.”
After deciding to expand their business, the sisters began researching the relevant industry and exploring the reasons behind the success of teams worldwide. They found that while many companies claimed to support women’s development, few genuinely addressed the root problems. Therefore, they decided to create a platform that not only provided vocational training but also psychological support. This platform would help women return to the workforce and regain their confidence in life.
Yu-Qi Wu: Any Age Can Achieve Greatness
Over time, their organization grew into a powerful network encompassing women from various industries. This platform offers not only vocational training courses but also a series of workshops aimed at boosting confidence and leadership skills. Yu-Qi Wu explained:
“Any age can achieve greatness. Our goal is to create a comprehensive support system for women, helping them succeed in their careers. Whether you are a fresh graduate in your twenties, a mother returning to the workforce, or a retiree aiming for new milestones, we will do everything to empower you!”
As founders and spiritual leaders of the team, the twins’ responsibilities extend beyond vocational training for women. They actively lead their team in participating in various public forums and seminars. When discussing women’s roles in the workplace and society, the sisters often host various public forums, sparking deep debates on gender equality and professional growth, garnering wide attention.

“We believe that through more international voices, whether in business, resource sharing, or even just a simple online cross-country sharing, as long as we never forget our original intention, more and more women worldwide will realize they can live better. They will better understand themselves, fulfill themselves, and join us in influencing more women, creating a virtuous cycle,” said younger sister Yu-Hsuan Wu.

“In addition to the fifth UN SDG ‘Gender Equality,’ we also hold the first goal ‘No Poverty’ close to our hearts. Many female partners have improved their quality of life and even their life quality through our platform.
