Nikon Senior Marketing Manager Mark Cruz: We work for professional photographers who demand the best, in addition to sustainability considerations!

《The Icons》interviewed Mark Cruz, Senior Marketing Manager of Nikon, during CES 2023. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, Cruz is passionate about innovation, sustainability, and customer experience. During the interview, Cruz shared his insights on Nikon’s latest products, its commitment to ESG and SDGs goals, and the future of the industry.

One of the highlights of Nikon’s latest product line is the Z9 camera, which Cruz described as “a game-changer in the industry.” The Z9 features a new image sensor, advanced autofocus system, and high-speed shooting capabilities. According to Cruz, “the Z9 is designed for professional photographers who demand the best. It offers unmatched performance, reliability, and versatility.”

Cruz also highlighted Nikon’s commitment to sustainability and its efforts to align with ESG and SDGs goals. He explained that “sustainability is not only important for the environment but also for the long-term success of our business. At Nikon, we believe that innovation and sustainability go hand in hand. We are committed to reducing our environmental footprint and creating products that are sustainable, efficient, and eco-friendly.”

When asked about the future of the industry, Cruz emphasized the importance of innovation and collaboration. He stated that “the industry is constantly evolving, and we need to stay ahead of the curve. Innovation is key to our success, and we are always looking for ways to improve our products and services. We also believe in the power of collaboration and are open to working with other companies and organizations to drive innovation and sustainability.”

Nikon’s commitment to ESG and SDGs goals is evident in its latest products and initiatives. The company’s focus on sustainability and innovation is not only good for the environment but also for its business. By reducing its environmental footprint and creating products that are sustainable and eco-friendly, Nikon is setting an example for other companies in the industry.
