When asked about how NARLabs perceived its performance at the exhibition, Lin stated that they recognized the complementarity between Taiwan and the UK in terms of technological research and commercialization.

“The UK excels in original designs and scientific theoretical development in biotech and data science, while Taiwan possesses rapid prototyping and large-scale production capabilities. This complementarity provides an excellent opportunity for collaboration. Through cooperation, both parties can integrate their strengths more effectively, driving the commercialization of technology,” he noted.

Looking toward the future, Lin mentioned the importance of ESG and SDGs and emphasized how to achieve sustainable development in these areas.

“Taiwan’s outstanding performance in the semiconductor field, coupled with its capability to reduce energy consumption and advance energy technology, secures its place in the global technological competition,” he stated. He also mentioned that Taiwan can collaborate with researchers and businesses worldwide to address various challenges faced by humanity, strengthening Taiwan’s influence and position in the global technology arena through these collaborations.
